Self Defense Seminar: For Runners, Hikers & Dog Walkers

Self defense is a combination of situational awareness, mindset, and physical readiness.

Join Kosa and Premier Martial Arts on Saturday, August 29th from 10am-12pm at the Premier Martial Arts Dojo at 705 South Main Street in Haverhill and learn how to access and utilize all of these on the trail, your running route, a hike in the woods, and the walk to your car from the grocery store. We’ll be focusing on the mental clarity, steady gaze, and physical training you’ll need to take care of business, should you ever need to.

We’ll start off the workshop with some fundamental tips and tricks around situational awareness, and how to avoid being involved in a violent situation.

We’ll delve into mindset, and do a short meditation to tap into getting you mentally ready for the bulk of the program; physical readiness.

You’ll get to practice some hands-on self defense techniques and situations one may “run” into while on a run or a walk.
